Teresa White, Doctor of Chiropractic, completed her BSc degree at the University of Toronto in Canada and then moved to England in 1992 to study a 5 year chiropractic degree at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic (AECC) where she obtained an honours degree BSc (Human Sciences, Honours) and a MSc (Chiropractic).
Family Chiropractic Sussex was borne out of Teresa White’s desire to help others as she was helped personally in many areas of her health using effective chiropractic care whilst in Canada where she grew up. Prior to this she used to suffer from migraines, headaches and dislocating knees and had been sent all over the medical community searching for help (neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists & GPs) and yet despite all of this effort and expense her conditions were not improving. She then saw a chiropractor who took x-rays of her spine and found that she had an abnormal curvature of her spine. With the real cause found she was given precise treatment that had a big impact on her life: her migraines, headaches and period pains went away, her energy improved, and subsequently her grades at school went up, her knees stopped dislocating and her posture improved.
When Teresa is not at work she is playing with her three cats – Monkey, Dolly and Casper! She also enjoys gardening and listening to jazz music.
